Unconditional love

Posted on by YFC Lincoln

During our Jesus series at Northeast’s club, we discussed how Jesus is “the bread of life.” We explained that God’s desire is to give us fulfillment, and that God knows that without Him we have many unfulfilled needs. We shared that God came to us in the form of His Son Jesus to fulfill every need. Sandy, a girl who hardly ever speaks at club, said she doesn’t feel loved. She went on to share that even though her dad was in her life, she has never felt completely loved by anyone. At the end of the night, we asked students to respond to the Gospel and Stacy said “yes” to Jesus because she now knows that Jesus loves her unconditionally and wants to meet all of her needs. She couldn't stop smiling.

More kids like this can be impacted when we all play a part in reaching lost teens in Lincoln. You can choose to volunteer, give, or pray to support Youth for Christ's ministries in Lincoln and the surrounding area. Campus Life, Teen Parents, and Juvenile Justice are essential ministries to reach Lincoln's teens.
