Time = Love

Recently, I was at Lincoln High in the parenting class and saw a young girl there I hadn’t seen before. She was friendly, joining in the conversations we were having and participating with the lesson. After class, I invited her to come to Parent Life on Tuesday evenings. She was very interested in coming and asked me some questions about it. I asked her when her baby was due and how old she was she said, “I am due in July and I am 14-years-old and the father to the baby is 14-years-old too.” My heart just dropped! What will her journey be and what will be the outcome? As I left school, she was heavy on my heart and mind; I realized we could be walking with her in her journey for many years.
Time = Love. We are ready to give her time and love. I am so thankful for our staff and volunteers that give time and love and are being the hands and feet of Christ, just as He has told us to be. God is faithful and great things are yet to come in the new seasons of life.
