Tasia Jumps for Jesus

One of the girls impacted on the Minnesota trip was Tasia. At the beginning of the trip, Tasia was not making healthy choices. She lashed out in extreme anger toward other students on the trip multiple times. During “mess” night, where we encouraged kids to deal with the sinful mess in their lives, Tasia began sharing with our staff, Shelby Burns, about some incredibly hurtful things in her past. On the last night of the trip, Tasia was absolutely engaged as Trey Ottley talked about a God who loves her and wants to be in relationship with her. Tasia popped up immediately at the opportunity to become a Christ follower. Since the trip, Tasia has asked Shelby to take her to church each week. Shelby faithfully picks up this anger-filled girl and takes her to church as she begins the journey of following Christ!
