Prayer is AMAZING.

Part of what we do in Haiti is go into the villages and talk with people and families and pray for them. We have translators that come to the villages with us, and they are absolutely on fire for the Lord and totally understand the power of prayer. One day, we went into the home of a 90-something year old blind man and had a huge prayer/song thing for about 10 minutes and it was by far the most powerful thing I have ever felt. It was AMAZING. And then, for the first three days of the trip, I kep getting really bad bloody noses and I never get them except in Haiti. One day at lunch, it was really bad and all the Haitian translators got around me and prayed for me. Honestly, my nose stopped bleeding right then and didn't bleed the rest of the week. It could have been coincedence, but I believe it really was an act of prayer and God.             -- Anders Carlson, Project Serve
