Parent Life Starting Strong

PL Update from Tiffany Leonida:
We (Parent Life staff) have officially walked into the doors of two out of the four schools where we will be co-teaching parenting classes.
We also began our Parent Life meetings with a Wing Night at Buffalo Wings and Rings. 
We had 13 students show up for wings with their kids! It was a great opportunity to get to know them better and invite them in for a deeper relationship.
God, doing what He does best, orchestrated that our waitress was actually a teenager who just found out she was pregnant! It was a divine appointment and I praise God that she spoke up about her pregnancy (very early on) and asked if she could be involved with Parent Life. Praise God!
We also had a couple come with their brand new eight day old baby. It was so encouraging that the baby's father was doing most of the childcare, except for when the baby needed to be fed. I made sure to go out of my way to tell the dad how good of a job he was doing, to encourage him and give him more confidence.
Can you please pray for our Parent Life team? As we continue to meet new students, that we are able to attract students to our community night on Parent Life, create trusting relationships with them, show them Christ's love, and ultimately, our highest calling, to share the good news of Jesus with them.
