Jesus is hope for the darkest places.

Abandoned, abused, neglected are the first words that come to mind when I think about Jocelyn. Ever since being victimized at a young age she has struggled through the gamut of teen pregnancy issues. Recently, the joy of a positive pregnancy test for this young girl was followed by the heartbreak of a miscarriage. Jocelyn refused to tell even her own mom about the failed pregnancy. Thankfully, a teacher caught wind of her story and brought Cara, our Teen Parents leader, in to meet with this young girl during her class. Cara spends an hour with Jocelyn hearing her story and sharing the hope offered through Christ. Jocelyn has yet to fully commit to Christ, but God is stirring in her heart.
More kids like this can be impacted when we all play a part in reaching lost teens in Lincoln. You can choose to volunteer, give, or pray to support Youth for Christ's ministries in Lincoln and the surrounding area. Campus Life, Teen Parents, and Juvenile Justice are essential ministries to reach Lincoln's teens.
