Jackie says YES to Jesus

Posted on by YFC Lincoln

On Tuesday one of our Juvenile Justice volunteers, Jean, sat down with a girl named Jackie for their third mentoring time together. Jean knew that Jackie’s time at the Lancaster County Detention Center was running short so she decided to ask a pointed question. “You have said a lot about church and the Bible . . . but what about Jesus? What do you know about Jesus?”

Jackie replied, “I guess not that much.” Jean jumped right in and shared the Good News of Jesus with Jackie, step-by-step. And, through that conversation, Jackie said YES to Jesus!

More kids like this can be impacted when we all play a part in reaching lost teens in Lincoln. You can choose to volunteer, give, or pray to support Youth for Christ's ministries in Lincoln and the surrounding area. Campus Life, Teen Parents, and Juvenile Justice are essential ministries to reach Lincoln's teens.
