“I want my life to change. I want my friends to change.”

“I want my life to change. I want my friends to change,” said Josh, a jailed teen in the Juvenile Detention Center.
As Tyler Carter read Ps. 40 at JDC, Josh was leaning in; he was visibly hungry to know more. Tyler could sense God’s presence in the room. God was working in Josh’s heart. Tyler was very encouraged and you should be too.
Some students are hungry for God. Some students are still hardened from the hurt and confusion and lies they’ve believed for far too long because they had no one to train them in truth. But don’t let their hard stares discourage you. In God’s perfect timing, God is breaking down those walls and our JJM staff are there in the detention center every day for when those students are ready to lean into God.
Josh is ready. Tyler will be meeting with him weekly now on Sunday afternoons to teach and train Josh in the truth of God’s love and forgiveness and hope of a new life. Thank you for making this possible by your support of YFC.
“As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord is thinking about me right now. You are my helper and my savior. Do not delay, O my God.” Ps. 40: 17
