Do You Know Josh Trexel?

Name of his game is definitely basketball. He plays most sports, but he loves basketball! 
It’s a wonderful fit for many of the overseas missions trips he’s been on. He’s led basketball camps in India and Mongolia, and helped with a VBS in Mexico, using those opportunities to share the Good News of the Gospel with kids who have never heard it before. Josh joined our high school Campus Life team this year, first as an intern, and shortly after that as a staff member. He’s the Campus Life leader at Lincoln East. Josh grew up in the church, but he did not make his faith his own until college. Two mentors played key roles in helping Josh understand what it truly meant to be a follower of Jesus. “The college and youth pastors at my church, Faith Bible, (Kyle and James) played huge roles in my life throughout my college years and they really helped me grow in my relationship with God. These guys are quick to invest time into others, and they have always been such great encouragers to me, especially when times have been hard. They’ve made a huge impact on my life over these past six years; my hope is that I would be able to come alongside others in a similar way,” said Josh. Josh is pumped and tremendously thankful to be investing in teens through Campus Life. We feel the same way about having him on board.
