Ashland Relaunch Campus Life Club is Rockin’!

Campus Life at Ashland relaunched in 2019 and is celebrating its one year anniversary this February! 
Though Tim Maas restarted this club mid-school year, two students Tim met at club last spring came to YFCamp this past summer. One was not a Christian, and she gave her life to Christ at camp! The other student was a Christian and decided at camp that she wanted to be baptized! To have both students from Ashland move forward in their walks with Christ after the first few months of ministry shouted to God being at work in this relaunched club. It was thrilling; all glory be to God on high!
And God has continued His good work here. The current club has seven consistent students, and each week they have the best conversations about how each topic pertains to their lives and how the Bible speaks to their lives. Though the group is currently small, it is incredibly rich in the depth of conversation with all students engaging, asking questions, and growing in their faith. Praise God.
The Campus Life club at Ashland collaborates with the ROC Youth Center in Ashland which is a beautiful partnership because the ROC facility is perfect for building times! Every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon Tim is at the ROC hanging out with students, getting to know them, and sharing experiences. The ROC also hosts special events which is another RMA that engages students in authentic Christ-sharing relationships. We are so excited about all God has done this past year at Ashland and all He’s going to do here on out!
