A place for encouragement & healing

Posted on by YFC Lincoln

At camp this summer, Anna was able to share with her small group some of the pain that she was going through in her life. She disclosed how she has no relationship with her real dad, and that she thinks her mom has a drinking problem. Her mom often goes straight to the bar after work. At home, it seems her mom self-medicates with alcohol, drinking by herself. Anna was already a Christian, but needed to have a place to share about her pain and receive encouragement and healing. She found that place at camp.

More kids like this can be impacted when we all play a part in reaching lost teens in Lincoln. You can choose to volunteer, give, or pray to support Youth for Christ's ministries in Lincoln and the surrounding area. Campus Life, Teen Parents, and Juvenile Justice are essential ministries to reach Lincoln's teens.
